Program Director
Set up online registration system
Main point of contact for league and other lacrosse programs
Scheduling of games and practices, includes securing contracts for fields and facilities
Coordinate with scheduling assistant, coaching staff, team managers, fundraiser coordinator, field and equipment manager, uniform manager, tournament manager and treasurer
Main liaison with high school coaching staff
Gain approval from and distribute registration and pre season information to schools
Guide the Mission, Objectives and Culture of the Wadsworth Girls Youth Lacrosse organization
Coaching Staff
Run practices 2-4 days per week (indoor Feb-April 1, outdoor April-May)
Coach games (1-3 per week) and tournaments (3-4 per season)
Provide direction to Assistant Coach and Team Coordinator
Work with high school coaching staff on program development
Support the Mission, Objectives and Culture of the Wadsworth Girls Youth Lacrosse organization
Treasurer
Coordinates payments for registration, league fees, officials, tournaments etc
Maintains all financial documents
Maintains Certificate of Good Standing with Secretary of State
Manage bank accounts
Scheduling Assistant
Assist Program Director in securing fields for all games and practices (WCS, City of Wads)
Obtain indoor practice space for pre-season and early season practices (WCS/Hammer Girl Fitness)
Liaison with the City of Wadsworth, Wadsworth City Schools, and Boys LAX program as it relates to field coordination
Complete annual contract required by City of Wadsworth and maintain electronic scheduling system
Complete annual renewal of Insurability with USA Lacrosse and provide to WCS
Enter field locations into website/App for all events
Team Coordinator
Main point of contact for program director, scheduling assistant, parents and players
Assist with practices (indoor Feb-April 1, outdoor April-May)
Assist on side lines at games (1-3 per week) and tournaments (3-4 per season)
Maintain safety equipment (emergency/medical contact list, first aide, ice packs, mouth guards, etc)
Complete team roster and distribute to parents
Collaborate with tournament manager and other team coordinators on day of tournament needs
Tournament Manager
Main point of contact for tournament directors, coaches, players, parents
Determine which tournaments each of the 3 levels will participate in throughout the season
Register teams for tournaments and coordinate payment with Treasurer
Coordinate with Team Managers tents, food, sign up genius etc
Coordinate with Scheduling Assistant
Officials Coordinator
Ensure officials are secured for all games in DragonFly
Main point of contact with Official Assignor (Todd) and coordinate payment with Treasurer
Complete contract and pay Assignor fee in coordination with Treasurer
Field & Equipment Coordinator
Coordinate with scheduling assistant, treasurer, coaches and team managers
Ensure each practice locations has nets
Ensure each home game location has nets, scorers table and scorecards if there is not a scoreboard
Secure scorecard and scoreboard operators at all levels for all home games
Deliver and collect nets at the beginning and end of the season (indoor practice location, Bird St. Park, Northside Christian Church)
In coordination with Boys LAX program, ensure grass field locations are lined per USA Lacrosse rules
Order new equipment including first aid supplies
Maintain inventory of storage unit
End of Season Coordinator
Coordinate all details for end of season celebration/parent vs player game
Determine budget for event with Treasurer
Coordinate end of season gift for players (if funds are available)
Coordinate end of season gift for coaches (if desired)
Coordinate with coach, team coordinator, scheduling assistant, uniform manager as needed
